Bessie’s Catering is a family-owned and family-run catering company rooted in tradition, excellence, and a genuine love for serving others. Founded in 1990 by Bessie Chambers, our company was built on a simple belief: treat every client like family and every event like it truly matters.

From the start, Bessie passed down more than recipes, she instilled professionalism, pride, and the importance of doing things the right way. Those values continue to guide everything we do today, from intimate gatherings to large-scale celebrations.

Today, Bessie proudly works alongside her grandson, Jameel Chambers, an accomplished chef and cafe owner. Together, they blend time honored recipes and traditions with fresh, modern culinary creativity. Chef Jameel brings a contemporary approach to the kitchen while honoring the legacy and excellence that Bessie has built over the years.
